Federal Talent Acquisition Event with the Partnership for Public Service

Early April is an exciting time in our nation’s capital, and it’s about to get even more exciting. We have the Major League Baseball season starting, with the Washington Nationals and their Opening Day on April 6th.

One day later – April 7th – the Partnership for Public Service (PPS) is holding an interactive workshop on the federal hiring process. The workshop, The Hiring Process: Identifying and Addressing Critical Barrier, is designed to help federal Chief Human Capital Officers (CHCOs) and other HR leaders strengthen their agency’s hiring process by identifying key barriers to securing best-qualified talent and leveraging existing resources to reduce inefficient practices. With its interactive nature, the workshop will provide interaction among peers and subject matter experts, with substantive takeaways for attendees, such as ways to reduce duplication and other cross-agency inefficiencies.

Senior HR leaders from several federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Agriculture, will be presenting as well.

NGA.NET is proud to be sponsoring this event and we’re looking forward to a great morning of information sharing, discussion and learning.

Baseball and actionable strategy sharing – we can’t wait for April!
