Quentin has experience across both the federal and state public sectors with over 10 years’ experience specialising in workforce planning.

Quentin’s experience covers strategic and operational workforce planning, workforce analytics, organisational and workforce design, capability management, workforce planning systems and the integration of workforce, location and technology strategies.

He leads the Workforce Strategy branch for the Department of Health in Queensland and is currently leading the development and implementation of a 10-year workforce strategy to ensure Queensland has a sustainable health workforce for the future.


Karen Evans, Managing Director, APAC, Acendre

Karen Evans is the Managing Director, APAC, for Acendre, where she leverages over 20 years of talent management experience to develop and lead the strategic direction for the region. Karen has worked with numerous organisations on their workforce planning and other talent management initiatives, is a presenter at industry conferences and is regularly quoted in the industry’s leading publications.

 


Tony Wallace, Senior Manager, People Advisory Services, EY

Tony commenced his career as a civil engineer before specialising in workforce planning. A distinguished graduate from the United States Naval Postgraduate School in Management Science, Tony has been actively involved in workforce planning over the past decade. He had held senior workforce planning roles in the Australian Army and Department of Defence, before moving to human capital consulting roles in the private sector.

He has helped senior executives to understand the importance and benefits of workforce planning through the use of analytics and decision support tools to improve decision making. He has a wealth of workforce planning experience with public and private sector clients. Tony is passionate about the benefits of strategic workforce planning and how it can be used to improve organisational outcomes. Since joining EY at the start of 2016, Tony has been involved with different workforce planning engagements in Australia and New Zealand.
