eRecruit, a key component of Natural Talent, the company’s cloud-based integrated talent management solution, simplifies human resources (HR) complexities and regulations for large organizations to improve hiring, retention, performance, engagement, succession, development and workforce planning. Specifically, eRecruit helps HR professionals improve the hiring process to save time, reduce costs and help find, attract and onboard top talent quickly and effectively. The new optimized support for mobile devices provides candidates with a complete, robust mobile solution to assist in their job searches and applications. HR organizations reap the benefits by expanding the pool of potential candidates applying, helping them attract better talent faster.

A 2015 study from Pew Research surveyed 2,001 people and found that 94 percent of job seekers researched jobs online via their mobile device. Further, the study found that 50 percent of job seekers reported filling out online job applications using their smartphones and another 23 percent reported using their smartphones to create a resume or cover letter. More evidence of this mobile trend is supported by a Glassdoor survey that notes only 44 percent of job seekers say they will actually apply for jobs on their mobile device. Per the Pew Research study, this means employers are converting less than half of their mobile job search traffic and missing opportunities to find new talent due to the fact that their websites and applicant tracking systems have not been optimized to be “mobile-friendly.”

“The bottom line is that if the system an organization has implemented is not mobile friendly, then you’ll end up missing out on qualified candidates,” said Mike Giuffrida, CEO of Acendre. “eRecruit improves organizations’ ability to attract high-quality candidates in a time where so many of our personal- and business-related activities are done today on mobile devices – so why would looking for a job be any different? Now, organizations that use eRecruit can instantly implement a mobile hiring strategy.”
