NGA.NET Adds Chief Product Officer to Drive Innovation and Deliver Products that Exceed Customer Exp



Karl Matthews Promoted to Lead Product and Design Teams with a Focus on Maximizing the Customer Experience NGA.NET, delivering talent acquisition and management solutions to optimize workforce performance, today announced the addition of the role of Chief Product Officer to the executive team, to lead technology development in addressing customer and industry demand. Newly appointed to the role as Chief Product Officer, Karl Matthews, who was previously NGA.NET’s vice president of product marketing, will align technology, engineering, support and infrastructure teams to maximize customer experience.

In addition to leading technology advancement at NGA.NET, Mr. Matthews will develop the technical vision of the company, while guiding and developing staff through the use of unique best practices designed to drive innovation while promoting from within. In addition, he will work directly with customers and prospects to emphasize NGA.NET’s technology leadership and to align new products and capabilities with market demand.

A 25-year veteran of the technology industry, Matthews’ experience spans the globe, including the U.S., Europe and Asia, with leadership roles in engineering, QA, support, IT, developer relations, strategic planning as well as product management and marketing. Prior to joining Acendre, Matthews was a member of the executive team at Geomagic, Inc, a leading provider of 3D authoring software, which was acquired by 3D Systems in 2013. There, he grew worldwide revenues, led product strategy, optimized product lines and launched innovative new products. Matthews also spent a decade at Adobe Systems, working with a range of products and services worldwide. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Brunel University.
